The course typically lasts 4 hours.

You'll find us at our studio, the What If Studio Gallery, situated at Pappelallee 12, Berlin.

Our courses can be conducted in English, Italian, or German to cater to your preferences.

At the start of the course, we’ll chat about your design and explore the possibilities together. If 4 hours aren’t enough to complete your piece, we’ll review the design and decide whether to add another session or simplify it. Additional time may come with a small extra fee, and we’ll go over all the details at the beginning of the course.

We can create your piece in two ways:

1. Wax carving + Casting in What If Studio
If your design works with sand-casting, you’ll carve your wax model, cast it in silver yourself, and finish the piece within the class.

2. Wax carving + External Casting Service
If your design isn’t suitable for sand-casting, your wax model will be sent to a professional caster. Once it’s back, you can either have me finish it for you or join a small follow-up session to complete it together. Any extra time or fees will be discussed upfront.

The ability to finish everything in one day depends on the group size. With 2–3 participants, we can usually complete the full process. With larger groups, I may complete the final finishing for you so it’s ready for pickup or shipping. Everyone will still get to watch the melting and casting — it’s one of the most exciting parts of the day!

To make the experience more enjoyable, it’s best to come with an open mind and go with the flow — every piece evolves naturally during the process. If you have a very specific design in mind, feel free to send me a photo beforehand so we can check whether it’s doable.

Your course fees are inclusive of material (wax+silver) costs, ensuring you have what you need to craft a ring with a width of up to 5mm. However, if your vision calls for a wider and more substantial piece, please be aware that there may be an additional fee. This covers the extra materials required, and we're committed to keeping you informed every step of the way.

Course fee:

1 Person: 250€

2 People: 400€ - add one friend

3 People: 650€ - add 2 friends

4 People: 800€ - add 3 friends

5 People: 1000€ - add 4 friends

Please note: These prices include silver for a ring with a maximum width of 5mm. For wider silver bands, the material cost will be calculated during the workshop based on the ring's weight.
